They come down from the trees to sit on your shoulder and eat from your hands. Little monkeys love to pose for the cameras and take selfies.
Next, the tour will visit the first of the Dominican Republic’s ziplines, constructed by one of the most experienced Costa Rican zipline circuit builder and certified by ACCT (Association for Challenge Courses Technology). Onboard the safari truck transportation, it will take 45 minutes to reach the site. The expert canopy guides will tell you what you need to know about the ride and the equipment. After the safety briefing and school line you are ready for the first platform. Safely attached with climbing gear to the double line cables, you just need to jump and enjoy the ride. The tours consist of 12 lines spread between 18 platforms. You need around an hour to an hour and a half to complete it. Don’t worry, the first cables aren’t very long and fast, in order to build your confidence. When you get to the sixth cable, you can reach a speed of 55 km per hour. Cable number nine is the highest one and cable eleven is the only side by side cable in the country that is 800 meters long.
