The tour begins when you arrive at our location in Kailua town. Our friendly staff will help you check in and make sure you are equipped with a lunch, snorkeling gear, and a drybag to keep valuables safely dry. You will receive some basic paddling instructions from your tour guides, after which, you will be off to Kailua Beach where you'll begin your spectacular day kayaking along Kailua Beach and Lanikai Beach to the Mokulua Islands!
Items To Bring: credit card, towel, swimsuit, hat, sunscreen, sunglasses and your desire to see the prettiest area of Oahu!
-There are small, complimentary lockers that you may use to store personal belongings upon request.
-There are restrooms on-site at our store for changing clothes, but we do suggest that you wear your swimsuit when you arrive.
This paddling tour sets off from the world-famous Kailua Beach and cruises along the calm, reef-protected waters of Kailua Bay and Lanikai. One of our trained naturalists will guide you on a one hour paddle along the beautiful coastline to a few close, offshore islets. Along the way, you may see Kailua bay's most important resident, the Hawaiian Green Sea Turtle!
You will land your kayak on the offshore island of Moku Nui and then enjoy swimming and relaxing on the white, sandy beaches of the island while sea and shore birds nest nearby. While on the island, you and your guide may trek to the island's natural tide pool, called Queen's Bath, or the breath-taking cove on the back of the island where you may enjoy snorkeling and/or cliff jumping! Your guide is a master paddler and instructor so you will learn the fun and safe and easiest way to paddle your kayak and, if you choose to, our guide will even teach you how to catch a few waves.
After leaving Moku Nui island, you will land your sit-on-top kayak on another world-renowned beach where you may enjoy snorkeling with the local marine life. Your guide, well versed in Hawaiian history, marine life, and our island's geological information will tell stories and impart thought-provoking information about Hawaii that most visitors love to hear about. This will be a day enjoyed by all!
When it is time to return, your guide will lead you back to Kailua beach and one of our staff members will be there to help you land your kayak. The tour ends when you arrive back at our store to collect your belongings and say your farewells. But do not despair, for you may find us on Facebook! Our guides will post photos they took of your tour on our company's page and you may relive your adventure by finding us and liking the photos!
