You’ll be picked up in the early morning from your Mpumalanga hotel for a relaxing drive by minivan or coach to the Moholoholo Wildlife Rehabilitation Center, situated in the shadow of the majestic Mariepskop Mountain at the base of the Drakensberg escarpment in South Africa’s Limpopo Province.
When you arrive in the late morning, your expert guide will take you on an extensive walking tour of the center, which is home to many of South Africa’s abandoned, injured and poisoned wildlife. This tranquil sanctuary is committed to the rescue and care of animals in need of refuge and rehabilitation, and is a highly regarded contributor to wildlife education and endangered animal conservation around the world.
