Your guide will pick you up right from your hotel in Moab. Just a short drive up Scenic Byway 128, your guide will be able to point out arches, historical sites and many other points of interest prior to arriving to the starting point of the tour.
At the put in, your guide will talk about all aspects of river safety, followed by an introductory lesson on river paddle boarding. Once comfortable, hop into the river and practice your new skills. With a guide in the lead, you will experience the river in a whole new way. You will be surrounded by red sandstone cliffs, feeling the waves of the Colorado River beneath you.
Overall, the trip is 6 miles and there is a large, soft, sandy beach located about halfway into the trip to stop, take a break and relax. The same van that picked you up will be waiting at the take out. While the guide is loading the gear, you can take it easy and enjoy a well-deserved snack.
