The first stop will be at the Lion Park, then its off to the Birds of Prey Centre, moving onto Tala Game Reserve and ends at the Phezulu Cultural Village and Reptile Park which lies at the Valley of a 1000 Hills.This trip starts with a a drive to the Lion Park which you will enjoy as the surrounding countryside provides beautiful and pleasant views all around. There you will get a chance to be close to Elephants and Lions more than you can imagine. The Lion Park keeps the Lions in an open air enclosure which sits at the end of the game drive route.
We then head off to the Birds of Prey Centre (closed on Mondays), which is a visit that is focused on conserving indigenous birds and is also a base for researching, breeding and rehabilitation projects for birds. These birds can also be viewed in the environment for visitors who are keen to learn more about South Africa's beautiful predators. Doors and windows must be kept locked and closed at all times.
Next stop is the Tala Game Reserve where you will get up close with wildlife and interact with animals in a special way. With the sights, sounds and smells of the African Bush this reserve is home to over 380 bird species and game such as Rhino's, Girrafe, Kudu, Hippo, Zebra's, Impala, Eland and many more.
Last stop is the Phezulu Cultural Village and Reptile Park which sits on the rolling stones of KwaZulu Natal on the Valley of a 1000 Hills. There you will get a chance to see and experience a bit of Zulu Culture and Zulu dancing and also be fascinated by meeting a sangoma (traditional healer). We then end the tour off at the Reptile Park which is an educational tour where park guides will intrigue you with interesting facts about the resident Nile crocodiles and snakes of the park.
