You will be picked up from your hotel in Quito for a 1.5-hour drive to Mindo, home to almost 50,000 acres of Ecuadorian cloud forest. The Bosque Protector Mindo-Nambillo is an outstanding reserve for 350 species of birds, including the toucan-barbet and the golden-headed quetzal.
Your private tour begins with an explanation from your guide who will share knowledge of the region's ecology and prepare you for a day of exploration in lush vegetation. As you leave the urban landscape, you can enjoy the gorgeous scenery from out of your window until you arrive in the misty valley and town of Mindo, an Eco-friendly base for exploring the region.
