Your tour starts early in the morning as you are picked up from your hotel or accommodation in Quito. You wil drive towards the North to the Middle of the World complex. Here, you will make a short stop and visit the Equatorial Monument to take a unique picture. You will continue the drive, crossing through small towns like Calacali and Nanegalito.
Then, you will reach the Mindo Protected Reserve area (1,300 meters above sea level). Located Northwest of Quito, this is one of the highest biodiversity places in the world, this area is also known as the birdwatcher’s paradise. Here you can enjoy many unique activities which include canopy, rapelling, tubbing, a chocolate factory visit, waterfall hiking, orchid garden and many more.
