Unique private tour to the very heart of Yucatan Peninsula. Visit Uxmal, an ancient Mayan city, learn about cacao production and the conquistadors way of life.

This is a one day tour to the very heart of the peninsula, to its capital - Merida. During the tour you will visit an archaeological complex Uxmal, where you can climb the pyramid of the magician which has atypical Mayan architecture with round shaped. Visit a female monastery, the temple of the turtle and the tween pyramids.

After visiting Uxmal, you will continue with a tour to Merida, the capital of the Yucatan peninsula. Merida was constructed by Spanish conquistadors when they came to Mexico. You will take a walk along the main street, visit the main square and church. The following part of your colonial adventure is a visit to a cacao plantation, where you will learn how the ancient Mayan people felt about cacao beans and see the preparation of a natural cacao.

Before going back to the hotel, you will make a last stop in an old, but very well preserved authentic Mexican hacienda, the former house of rich conquistadors and their slaves.
