Enjoy a special shore excursion when your cruise docks in Cochin on December 4, 2016 or February 19, 2017. Spend your time cruising the backwaters of Alleppey, also known as Alappuzha. Discover the famous inland waterways of Kerala on board a houseboat, and see traditional villages and backwater boats. Explore the Fort Kochi Chinese nets, Dhobi Khana, St. Francis church.Get picked up from the Kochi Port by 9:30am, and transfer to Alleppey (approx 1.45 hrs) to board your houseboat by 11:15 am. Cruise slowly through the backwaters and village areas to marvel at the lush vegetation, paddy fields, coconut palms and more. There will be 3 staff members along with your guide to look after you and make sure your experience is as relaxed as you could wish for.

Discover the lush Alleppey region of India. Marvel at the traditional wooden houseboat. Drift past paddy fields and coconut palms. Feast on a Keralan lunch on board your boat. Enjoy a traditional Keralan lunch with rice, vegetable dishes, fish, chicken and more as you gently cruise.

The houseboat cruise finishes at approximately 2:15pm, and later transfers to Fort Kochi to visit the Chinese nets, Dhobi Khana, St. Francis Church and more. When the tour ends, you will be dropped off at Kochi Port by 5.30 pm to return to your cruise.
