First stop takes place near downtown at 70 boulevard to discover one of the most representative Fondas of the area. There is enough free time to walk around and take vibrant pictures so just get ready to discover the rest of Medellín Fondas because the fun has only started. It's recommended to bring cash and/or Colombian pesos since not every store takes credit or debit cards.
After a guided visit to the warm boulevard, your professional guide will drive south for the next Fonda stop as you are informed of the hottest spots and popular places on the way, allowing you to better comprehend the city and absorb the local atmosphere. Feel free to make a sudden stop for pictures, restrooms or to extra grab beverages.
Second stop involves the magnificent Envigado Plaza where charming Fondas are quite popular among locals rather than foreigners so you can better interact with natives instead of foreigners, which is the case in common tourist destinations.
The last and most remarkable stop takes place just a few minutes away further south at cozy Sabaneta, a “rural” village that has been absorbed through decades by the ever-increasing construction projects that expand our city towards the outskirts. You will even see curious street signs prohibiting horse riding around main Square which explains how passionate this culture has been about horses and many other practices that still persist today.
It has already been a pleasure to have you around Medellin´s most entertaining Fondas and we definitely looks forward to welcoming you and/or your family and friends in the near future so feel free to ask your guide for info.
After approximately 3 hours of a fantastic journey, you should be already familiar with the interesting traditions of this vibrant city and its authentic lifestyle as your private driver/guide takes you back to your hotel or any other location you feel like.
