It is bypassed by tourists but Italians know it as La Bella Addormentata, (the sleeping beauty) because it hasn't changed since the Middle Ages.

The pick up will be at 8:00 AM to discover this charming city. In Mantua, palaces, stately villas, parks and town are built in accordance with the Renaissance architectural style. Mantua and Sabbioneta compose an UNESCO World Heritage Site. It is one the most fascinating cities in the northern Italy for its artistic and historical heritage.

The city was long dominated by the Gonzaga dynasty that transformed it into a court of great splendor, still reflected today in its historic center. During the morning you can explore this amazing city and its main attractions like the Palazzo Ducale, home of the Gonzaga family. It is a huge complex of buildings, courtyards and gardens. There are over 500 rooms and the most famous being the Camera degli Sposi with frescoes painted by Mantegna (reservations recommended). You will be enchanted by the Palazzo Te also a Gonzaga’s palace with beautiful frescoes, the St. Andrew’s basilica which holds the tomb of the painter Mantegna and where there is also a container said to hold the blood of Christ. The Rotonda of St.Lawrence, a circular 11th century rotonda, is believed to be on the site of a Roman temple to Venus. Spend some time in the beautiful Piazza delle Erbe and Piazza Sordello. They are lined with cafes, shops and several good restaurants where you can taste typical dishes like pumpkin tortelli, maccheroncini al torchio with beef stew, fettuccine with ragu, agnoli or passatelli in broth.
During the afternoon we will transfer you to Maranello (Modena), the famous Ferrari’s city. In the Ferrari museum (entirely dedicated to the history of the Prancing Horse) you can enjoy a permanent exhibition dedicated to Formula 1 and the World Championship, complete with cars and a 'pit-stop wall' where visitors can gain an understanding of telemetry and pilots’ in-race drive behaviour. There are other interesting things to discover: a cinema with looped showings of themed films, semi-professional Formula 1 simulators and the opportunity to try your hand at a genuine tyre change. It is also possible to visit the newest MEF (Enzo Ferrari Museum) focused on the life and work of Ferrari’s patron. Inside is Ferrari’s life story, black-and-white films projected onto a concertina of gleaming white panels. You will see also the magnificent Ferrari F40: the last car he worked on.

We will drop you off at your preferred location in Verona city at 7:30 PM.
