Today you will explore the beautiful Ecological Reserve Manglares Churute. The Ecological Reserve is located in the Guayas Province of Ecuador, 40 km away from Guayaquil. The many lakes located in the park are great ways to view many aquatic birds and tortoises and near the water you will see many amazing mangrove formations.

Today you will explore the beautiful Ecological Reserve Manglares Churute. The Ecological Reserve is located in the Guayas Province of Ecuador, 40 km away from Guayaquil. The many lakes located in the park are great ways to view many aquatic birds and tortoises and near the water you will see many amazing mangrove formations.
After you're picked up from your hotel we are heading to Ecological Reserve Manglares Churute and its surrounding deciduous forest, including a large expanse of Mangrove Forest at the mouth of Guayas River.
The reserve is located in Guayas Province and its elevation ranges from 0 – 700 meters. On the tour, we can observe up to 52 endemic species of birds and various types of monkeys. Most of the area consists of mangrove with halophytic vegetation that grows up in the estuaries of three rivers (Cañar, Taura and Churute). Part of the site is the lagoon El Canclón. Freshwater and hills covered with tropical dry forest and humid tropical transition. Lunch will be served at local restaurant and a chance to explore more of the area on foot so put on your hiking boots and experience the coastal rain forest.
At the end of the tour we will go back to Guayaquil.
