Manali is a travelers paradise with it's lofty snow peaks, deep gorges, lush green valleys, fast flowing rivers, enchanting mountain lakes, flower bedecked meadows, beautiful temples and monasteries steeped in time.Your guide will pick you up at your hotel in Kullu at 9:00am for morning departure or 2:00pm for afternoon departure and proceed towards the city sightseeing. Visit heritage and ancient landmarks like Hadimba Temple. It is an ancient cave temple dedicated to Hadimba Devi, sister of Hidimb, who was a character in the Indian epic, Mahabharata. The temple is surrounded by a cedar forest at the foot of the Himalayas. The sanctuary is built over a huge rock jutting out of the ground, which was worshiped as an image of the deity. The structure was built in the year 1553. Later on continue to visit the Tibetan Monastery to explore the Tibetan culture and tradition. This monastery is known for preserving ancient Tibetan art. Handicrafts are also kept for sale to outsiders. The paintings inside depict events from Lord Buddha's life.
Later on your guide will assist you to visit the Vashishth Temple. There are a couple of temples stands opposite to each other. One temple is dedicated to Lord Ram and the other one is to Sage Vashishta, the pattern saint and Lord Ram.Once upon a time this was a meditation place for Vashishta Maharshi. When Laxman came to help Vashishta muni for Ashwa megha yaga, to warm up the cold place, he fired an arrow to the ground from where hot water spring gushed out. Until today there is a belief that the water here has medicinal values.
Now your guide will assist you to a local restaurant to enjoy a delicious traditional meal. After lunch your driver will drop you at your hotel where your tour will conclude.
