Disembark your ship at Malaga cruise terminal, then hop inside an air-conditioned minivan and travel to the Alhambra, a UNESCO-listed Moorish palace complex in Granada.
On arrival, after around two hours on the road, spend a few moments admiring the palace’s rose-tinted walls and the sweeping panoramas of Granada. Then, with your skip-the-line ticket, walk past the main queues and head inside.
With your guide leading the way, walk through the lavish palatial buildings and courtyards decorated with elegant arches and bubbling fountains, and learn how the site is thought to have been constructed as a fortress in the 9th century.
