Madeira Peaks. Machico - Funduras - Portela - Porto da Cruz - Faial - Santana - Cova da Roda - Cruzinhas - Ribeiro Frio - Pico Areeiro - Vale Paraíso.Deep in to the Southeast, to Machico town, we start driving towards de line that divides North and South, providing you with a breathtaking view of the Eagles Rock from Portela. Driving down, Porto da Cruz is the next point to stop, visiting a sugar cane factory, then in to Faial’s coast line and up, to visit Santana’s typical houses, one of Madeira’s biggest signatures, small straw thatched triangular houses. Down valley and through the forest we arrive at Riveiro Frio and achieve the height of 1818m, the 3rd hiest pick of the Island. The end of the tour will be close but the memory shall remain forever.
