Experience the West of the beautiful Madeira island in a small group excursion with friendly and professional tour guides.The tour begins towards the fishing village of Câmara de Lobos. Stop at the Pico da Torre viewpoint where you can get a great overview of it's beautiful bay full of small fishing boats. Then, stop at Estreito de Câmara de Lobos to observe the vineyards in the green covered terraces.
At Cabo Girão, you get a breathtaking sea views from the observation platform. At an altitude of 580 meters, it's the highest cape in Europe and the second in the world. At the village of Ribeira Brava, you will be able to visit the beautiful church of São Bento and enjoy the sea views. Leaving towards the north, we get to the largest plateau of the island, Paul da Serra.
Observe the great valley of Ribeira da Janela as we continue towards the Village of Porto Moniz where we arrive at around lunch time. Here you can pick from a number of local restaurants, bars, or enjoy the beautiful natural swimming pools. We then make our way to Seixal, where at the Véu da Noiva viewpoint you can appreciate the great waterfall and the old roads along the cliffs.
On our way back, we pass through the viewpoint of Encumeada at the top of a mountain where you have a beatiful overall view of both the north and south coast of the island. We'll also pass through the Laurissilva forest. Classified as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1999.
