Make your own way to Macau Tower where your guide welcomes you and briefs you on what to expect during the Skywalk.
Start by thoroughly reviewing the safety guidelines, and then get outfitted with your safety harness and other gear. Once you're strapped into your harness, head to the doorway that leads to the exterior of the tower. Your guide ensures that your harness is securely attached to the safety cable with two points of contact. When you're ready, step onto the exterior platform, which measures less than six feet wide (1.8 meters) and circles the tower at a dizzying height of 764 feet (233 meters).
Did we mention that there is no handrail?
Follow your guide around the walkway, and hear informative commentary about the sights far below you. On a clear day, the views extend from Macau to Hong Kong, the Pearl River Delta and mainland China.
If you're feeling daredevil-ish, up the ante by trying out tricks such as leaning out from the building into space, sitting down and dangling your feet off the edge, or 'flying' around the building. You can even do the walk at night to gaze at the sparkling lights of the city and the inky darkness of the South China Sea.
Macau Tower admission option:
The price of Skywalk does not include the admission fee to Macau Tower itself. When booking, you have the option to purchase the Skywalk only or combine with admission to Macau Tower.
