After making your way to Macau Tower, your guide greets you and outlines your jump experience.
Start with a thorough safety briefing, followed by time to get outfitted with your safety harness. Once you're strapped in, head to the jump platform and mentally prepare for your jump as your guide securely fastens your harness to the tower's cables. Before taking the leap, look out at the panoramic view, which extends from Macau to mainland China, the Pearl River Delta and Hong Kong on a clear day.
You'll use the same platform as the bungy jumpers, situated at a vertigo-inducing height of 764 feet (233 meters). However, as a Skyjumper, you are attached to a cable that moderates the speed of your descent, making for a smooth, 17-second flight and upright landing at the base of the tower. The whole time, you'll remain in a standing position without the free fall or rebound of bungy jumping. You can compare this experience to base jumping, but you are attached to a cable instead of a parachute (and it's legal!).
You can choose to jump solo or in tandem with a friend, during the day or at night. You can also rent a costume to wear during your jump (additional fee) and purchase a professional video and photo reel afterward, if you wish.
Macau Tower admission option:
The price of Skyjump does not include the admission fee to Macau Tower itself. When booking, you have the option to purchase Skyjump only or combine with admission to Macau Tower.
