6:30am Check-in at Slip #56 at Ma'alaea Harbor. Waiver forms are filled out at the dock box. Boarding begins at 7am, waivers are handed to the captain as the board the boat. You will be asked to remove your shoes. Shoes are placed in shoe bins on the deck in a safe area. Breakfast is served as the guests arrive. When everyone is on board and in the cabin, the captain greets all the passengers and does a safety briefing.
Shortly afterwards, your boat departs Ma'alaea Harbor enroute to snorkel destination. Destinations are determined by wind and sea conditions. If a scheduled destination site is deemed unsafe, or unfavorable conditions are happening, an alternate site will be chosen. Sailing may happen on the way to the snorkel site based on conditions. If sailing is not feasible, Alii Nui will motor to the site. At 8am arrive at your snorkel destination. Snorkel gear is distributed on the way to the snorkel site. A snorkel briefing is given on where to snorkel, safety information and snorkel instructions are provided as needed.
After approximately 1 hour in the water the guests are brought back on board and then the boat proceeds to the second snorkel spot. Mid-morning snack is served. While guests are in the water snorkeling at the second spot, the crew is preparing and setting out the lunch buffet. Lunch will be served at 11:30am. Swimming and snorkeling continues until approximately 12pm. Guests are then brought on board and crew prepares for the trip back to the harbor. On the return, the boat may sail, depending on conditions. 1pm will mark the end of snorkel Sail- guests disembark at Ma'alaea Harbor.
