Once your party is collected and comfortable, you will commence this activity with a 1st stop at the top of Ancon Hill where you will experience a birds' eye view in every direction overlooking Panama City. From there you will be able to see the Pacific entrance to the Panama Canal, the new Cinta Costera along Avenida Balboa and city coast, and the famous Las Americas bridge.
Proceed to the famous Mira Flores locks of the Panama Canal where you will tour the visitor center, museum, gift shop and view an excellent movie presentation of Panama Canal history and construction.
After an amazing history lesson of the Panama Canal, you will continue with a short drive to Panama´s Casco Viejo district (Old Town) where the guide will take you on an amazing historical walk through Casco Viejo´s landmark attractions such as the Flat Arch, Golden Altar, and Plaza Francia. There are also many newly renovated and restored hotels, restaurants and nightlife hot spots.
There are many places along the way to shop for souvenirs, eat lunch, or just kick back with cold beverage and observe the surroundings. This is your private tour, and there is a lot of flexibility if you prefer to stop and eat or spend more time at one Casco Veijo destination if you prefer.
