Wells, John Keats, Robert Louis Stevenson, George du Maurier, John Constable, John Galsworthy, D.H. Lawrence and Katherine Mansfield.
Along the way your guide will show you ancient churches and pubs from the coaching inn days. You will also be shown the house where the most famous playwright of his day, Oscar Wilde, spent much of his time. See the beautiful area that inspired P.L. Travers to write Mary Poppins. You will see the house that celebrity chef, Jamie Oliver, had to sell, because people kept shouting at his window, 'Jamie! Make us a bacon sandwich,' on leaving the pub.
