Visit the Scottish Highlands on our Loch Ness day trip from Glasgow. It is a full day of sightseeing but with a relaxed and personal atmosphere we ensure that you have a stress free trip whilst ticking some awesome items off your bucket list. We have experienced guides who can tell you stories and show you some hidden gems often missed. On this Loch Ness Tour, will you find Nessie? We hear she likes cheese and we have snacks on board the bus, so she may smell us coming to better your chances. Other than Loch Ness, we visit the Bonnie Banks of Loch Lomond, The Drovers Inn, Glencoe and Fort William.

We meet in Glasgow and hope to leave at 8am sharp, The first stop is the Drovers Inn, which was built in 1705 and hasn’t changed much since. It is a historical delight and you will sure to be served a coffee or other refreshment (not included) from one of the kilted bar staff.

We then start the beautiful drive for Fort William, making a couple of short photograph stops along the way in Glencoe if the weather is permitting. On Arrival in Fort William, we will stop for a comfort break at the foothills of Ben Nevis and give in to some retail therapy at the Gift Shop with traditional Scottish gifts a plenty. Depending on the group’s wishes, we can enjoy lunch here too. Otherwise we will make our way for Fort Augustus.

On Arrival in Fort Augustus there are so many photographic opportunities here of the locks, canal boats and a Highland Coo or 2. There are also a number of eateries here if the group decides to have lunch here instead (not included).

Afterwards we make way to Urquhart Castle which has arguably the best vantage point of Loch Ness, which is not surprising since being a fortress for a millennia, they needed to see who was coming. The castle is a delight and can be enjoyed during our Summer itinerary. Unfortunately due to Winter opening hours at the castle, it is not possible to visit after October.

Finally we make our return journey back to Glasgow. If desired we can stop at restaurant and or pub for something to eat on the way back to Glasgow as and when the group decides.
