Upon leaving Glasgow you will visit the bonnie, bonnie banks of Loch Lomond where you can take a lovely 1 hour cruise across its waters, or you can pay a visit to the blissful village of Luss. Next you will traverse the Trossachs National Park where you will witness the ‘Highlands in Miniature’. You will finish your day at Stirling Castle where you will learn the history of William Wallace and Robert the Bruce before returning to Glasgow.

Upon leaving Glasgow you will visit the bonnie, bonnie banks of Loch Lomond where you can take a lovely 1 hour cruise across its waters, or you can pay a visit to the blissful village of Luss. Next you will traverse the Trossachs National Park where you will witness the ‘Highlands in Miniature’. You will finish your day at Stirling Castle where you will learn the history of William Wallace and Robert the Bruce before returning to Glasgow.
Heading north-west immediately upon your departure from Glasgow, the first stop of the tour is the renowned Loch Lomond, one of Scotland’s finest sites for its beauty. Once here you have the option to either take a delightful cruise (own expense) across the Loch where you can enjoy its scenery unobstructed or you can take a wander through the charming village of Luss.
Upon returning to the coach your tour will begin traversing the ‘Highlands in Miniature’, The Trossachs. Known as the ‘Highlands in Miniature’ due to hosting a wealth of woodlands, lochs and mountains you will be able to have lunch in its surrounding at the lovely village of Aberfoyle. After lunch you will continue your tour of the Trossachs and see some of Rob Roy MacGregor’s old stomping grounds.
Once you’ve emerged from the Trossachs your tour will make its way to Stirling Castle, which overlooks the city of Stirling, and is one of the most important historical sites in all of Scotland (entry not included). You will learn about its residents, the conflicts surrounding it and take the beautiful landscapes from its walls.
Once you are done exploring the castle, your coach will begin the journey back to Glasgow where your 8 hour tour ends.
