The capital of Slovenia, is located on the banks of the emerald green river Ljubljanica, and attracts tourists with its laid back atmosphere and many cultural events. Ljubljana castle, at the top of a hill near the city centre, is now connected with funicular. The Triple Bridge, Dragon Bridge and Hradecky Bridge connect the two banks of Ljubljanica, and, according to some, Central Europe with the Balkans.
Bled lake is a tourist 'must see' if you are in Slovenia. This glacial lake, with a small island and church on it ‘protected’ by Bled castle, is famous as a sport center and a health resort due to its good climatic conditions.
