It is only a 30 minute drive to the first stop in Pisa where you will have time by yourself to wander around Pisa visiting some of its top attractions: the Cathedral, the Baptistery and not forgetting that ever important photo with the famous Leaning Tower of Pisa.
Back on the mini-bus for the hour-long drive to Florence; a scenic ride through the beautiful hills of Tuscany. You will stop at the Piazzale Michelangelo to get your first, panoramic view of the splendid Renaissance city of Florence.
You will be driven to the centre of Florence to explore it’s numerous architectural gems. You will visit the Church of Santa Croce where many famous Italians are buried including Michelangelo and Galileo. You shall also take a stroll towards the River Arno to see the Ponte Vecchio. No tour of Florence is complete without seeing Florence’s Duomo that is crowned by Brunelleschi’s Dome, the Baptistery with its magnificent bronze doors and Giotto’s Bell Tower. You will have some free time to perhaps visit a museum, go window-shopping or enjoy a quiet drink at one of the many cafes and watch the world go by!
