This is a fun and unique way to see this historical city.You will be picked up at your hotel to begin this 8-hour tour through Lisbon. Hop into an air-conditioned minivan and get ready for a great day! 
First you'll travel to the riverside district of Belem. In Belem experience guided walk around the most impressive monuments: the 16th-century Jeronimos Monastery and Belem Tower, both classified World Heritage Site by UNESCO, the Monument to the Discoveries, the huge marble world map on the floor and learn about the Golden age of Portugal. Still In Belem try a traditional custard tart "pastel" from the famous confectionery "Pasteis de Belem", founded in 1837 (included in the price of the tour). 

Depart Belem and after a short ride continue to the authentic neighborhoods of Baixa and Alfama - the heart of the Old Lisbon. Admire surrounding belveders, narrow streets, orange roofs and terraces with flowers. Follow your guide to visit Portas do Sol belvedere (panoramic overlook), the 12-th century Lisbon Cathedral, the Commerce square. Stroll through rua Augusta with it's colorful buildings, Pedro IV square, Rossio station etc. always accompanied by your guide. You can also taste traditional cherry liqueur ginjinha (own expense).

Next, you move to Chiado and Bairro Alto districts, the most cosmopolitan and sophisticated area of the town. Standing near Carmo church, learn from your guide about Lisbon’s devastating earthquake of 1755. Then, you'll have free time to look around. Perhaps, check out the famous cafe "A Brasileira" or visit charming old bookshops or boutiques of international or local brands.

In the final part of the tour you'll ride, with live commentary on board, to the modern part of Lisbon which is called EXPO and the Nations park with it's broad promenade, cable-way, Oceanarium, the Vasco da Gama bridge and remarkable architecture. Here enjoy your time to explore more on your own. Then, reconvene with your guide and head back to your hotel where the tour concludes.
