You will enjoy a leisure and comfortable cruise along Li River with beautiful view and delicious buffet lunch on board. Your group tour guide will accompany you on-board as well.
In the morning, your English-speaking guide will meet you at your hotel lobby between 8:00 and 8:30 and take you to the pier by tour bus. Sitting comfortably on the cruise boat, you will enjoy the picturesque scenery along Li River that reminds you of many beautiful landscape paintings. The cruise will arrive in Yangdi at 11:00am which is the start of the essence of Li River. It will take approx. 13 mi/20 km to Xingping.
A freshly cooked Chinese lunch box will be served on board around noon. Just enjoy the delicious food while being amazed by the beautiful natural scene. The cruise boat will arrive at the Yellow Reflection of Yellow Cloth at 12:30pm. You will have a chance to see the real landscapes of the picture on the Chinese 20-dollar bills. The cruise will pass by Xingping Old Town at 1:00pm and reaches Yangshuo Pier at 1:30pm. Yangshuo is a historical Chinese town of over 1,000 years with Western influences.
After the cruise you will have some free time to explore Yangshuo on your own. Your local guide will let you know the pickup time and location. You could choose to stroll along the West Street in Yangshuo and be surprised that almost everyone on West Street can speak fluent English and every restaurant or bar have menus in multiple languages. You will feel the spell of its charismatic and welcoming small-town atmosphere. In addition, West Street is flanked by fascinating little shops and vendor stands selling a broad variety of souvenirs and gifts for friends and relatives.
When the tour is concluded, if you choose to stay in Yangshuo, your guide can provide direction to your hotel in Yangshuo. If you are going back to Guilin, your car will pick you up at the designated location and transfer you back to Guilin arriving by 6:30pm.
