LEGOLAND Germany Independent Day Trip from Frankfurt

Leave Frankfurt by coach, and relax on your journey south to Legoland Germany. As you travel, take your provided lunch box from your onboard host. Then, when you reach the park, pay your entrance fee and make the most of roughly five hours to explore the Lego-filled wonderland at your own pace.

Covering an area the size of some 26 soccer pitches, the park is split into eight different areas that offer something to excite all the family. Visit Lego X-Treme for your fill of fast-paced adventure with roller coasters and knuckle-biting rides, or wander the quirky streets of Miniland. Built from Gulliver’s perspective, the area boasts model replicas of several European towns and landscapes, built from a staggering 25 million Lego bricks.

Break from the rides to try your hand at some activities. Pan for treasure or treat the smaller kids to a dragon hunt around Knight’s Kingdom. Explore the jungle-themed area of Adventure Land, and watch a show in the Monkey Theater. Or, let your imagination run wild in the aptly named Imagination zone, where pedal cars offer a whacky form of transport to see the park from above.

When hunger hits, enjoy your lunch box or check out the range of different Legoland eateries. Pizza, waffles, schnitzels, crepes, sandwiches and more are all on offer, so there’s enough choice to suit even the fussiest of eaters.

Return to your coach in the late afternoon, and travel back to Frankfurt. Your day trip then ends with a drop-off at the start point in the evening.
