You’ll hear narration from the captain about the geology, ecology and history of the lake.Departing in either the morning or afternoon, your cruise aboard the majestic Mohican takes you sightseeing along one of New York’s most scenic waterways. You’ll travel approximately 14 miles (22.5 km) through the southern half of Lake George and back.

If you've selected the morning cruise to romantic Paradise Bay, take in views of the Adirondack Mountains and the Narrows — a series of wooded islands mostly used for camping. Pass by lakeshore scenery such as the hamlet of Bolton Landing and the elegant Sagamore Resort, built in 1883.

On the afternoon cruise, a leisurely journey takes you past Dome Island, protected to preserve its 'forever wild' landscape, and around the many isles of the Narrows, possibly the most photo-worthy area on the entire lake.

Listen to entertaining narration by the captain, who describes particular homes and other places of interest, as well as the lake's geology and ecology and its historical significance in key battles during the French and Indian War. After roughly 2.5 hours, you're returned to the dock.
