After hotel pickup, you’re transferred to Bach Dang pier to board the Lady Hau*, a former rice barge that once transported shipments between Mekong Delta communities. Transformed into a quaint dinner cruiser with an onboard kitchen, the newly renovated boat provides three separate top decks plus a viewing platform that is perfect for taking in the sights of Ho Chi Minh City as you glide down the Saigon River.
Take a seat at your table and enjoy the unique flavors of Vietnamese cuisine at its best. Dine on a premium selection of Vietnamese and international buffet dishes prepared fresh by an award-winning former chef of The Dock restaurant. Barbecued meat and fish dishes are made to order on board. Drinks are also available for purchase at the bar.
The barge follows a 7-mile (12-km) route north before turning around and cruising back to Bach Dang. As you coast along the riverbank, a guide may point out bustling downtown sights as well as Thao Dien riverside villas and Thanh Da Island. Upon return to the pier, you’re transported back to your hotel.
