Disembark the riverboat and accompany your guide on a walk in the rainforest while learning about the flora, fauna and history of the area. Part of the trail dates back to the 1920s when Dan Duggan established his tourism attraction “The Maze”, later called “Paradise”. In homage to Mr Duggan who rowed tourists across the river, in all their finery, eager to experience the beauty of the rainforest, Kuranda riverboat tours is recreating aspects of Mr Duggan’s original tourism venture.
At the end of your guided walk you will be served light refreshments in our outdoor rainforest tea room. Return to the Kuranda riverboat for transfer back to our jetty on the Kuranda Village side of the river.
