Enjoy a day trip to Krka Waterfalls and return to Split refreshed and stopping by the pretty town of Sibenik.Your day tour from Split to National Park Krka Waterfalls is starting early in the morning, to avoid crowds and to catch the first boat that will take us into the Park and shorten our time. Your ride from Split will last around one to one and a half hour.
When you reach Krka and get in the park with a boat tour (30 minutes), you will have walks with your guide inside of park that last around 45 minutes. From there you have more than 3 hours of free time. We recommend you jump into the water! There is a beach where you can swim, and it is very nice or you can just relax and play around in the park. You can also swim very close to the waterfalls and swim into the spray. One of the well known attractions of Krka are waterfalls, 17 of them everywhere you look, and in person you can realize how big they are.
Inside the park you can find footpaths, museums, watermills, restaurants and gift shops. There is a path over the water that you can wonder for hours, walking through, round, under and over the waterfalls, which drop and flow gently through woods and over rocks to a very large pool at the base. You will run into a few watch points (panorama views) here, so don't forget to bring your camera, because you can have the best pictures ever.
After free time in the National Park, you will be taken to city of Sibenik and you will visit St.Jacobs cathedral (protected by UNESCO). Siibenik is a small town, so you will stay here around 45 minutes. After finishing this short break, you will be arriving back to Split in the late afternoon, via highway.
