This is how your day will look like:
09:00 am - Depart Zagreb on your way to Zagorje region.
10:30 am - Arrive at the beautiful town of Krapina, known best for the largest and most abundant collection of Neanderthal people collected at a single site. Visit the museum (entry fee included), and the excavation site where you get to walk in the footsteps of our ancestors and see life as it was 125,000 years ago.
12:00 pm - Depart Krapina and continue towards Trakoscan castle.
12:30 - Arrive at the enchanting Trakoscan castle. Full of rich history, folklore, and local legends - you will have 1.5 hours to explore the castle and its grounds (entry fee included) You will see the original weapon collection, and enjoy the site that inspired one of the greatest Croatian writers for her novels about the Witch of Gric!
14:00 pm - Make your way to Varazdin.
15:00 pm - Arrive in Varazdin, and take a tour of the city that was once the capital of Croatia. Visit the old fort, city palace, city hall, national theater, and the monastery (entry fees to any of the sites in the city are NOT included)
17:00 pm - Way back to Zagreb where you arrive at 18:30 pm (approx.)
