We will pick you up at your hotel with our complimentary shuttle van and take you 15 mins away to a remote area known as Geiger Key. We will arrive at our Geiger Key Paddle Hut, your guide will give you instruction on equipment and provide dry bags for camera's and personal items. We provide cold bottle water and quality equipment. We have an easy access ramp with a hand rail to help easily enter into the kayak. Your guide will ease your kayak into the water. You will follow your guide through the mangrove creeks, trails and flats. Looking for a variety of birds and marine life. Along the prop roots you may see sea stars. Once you make your way through the mangrove creek, you will glide across the shallow grass flats looking for our Eco Slam - Rays, Sharks, and Barracudas. (Nothing too big or scary, you are only in 2-3 ft of water.) Your guide may spot a nurse shark or bonnet head shark. You will move into a hard bottom community, that is where will we will find upside down jelly fish, conch shells and sea snails. You may have an opportunity to have a touch tank experience but we never take anything back with us to the land. We do our best to avoid the dreaded turn around and paddle into the wind. We have 6 different routes to choose from insuring the easiest paddle possible. Once back at the Paddle Hut there are restrooms, fresh water rinse, and if you choose to drive yourself there is a great Fish Camp Restaurant located on the water right next to our Geiger Key Paddle Hut. The entire experience from pick up to drop off is 4 hours with 2 hours on the water.
