This amazing mountain bike tour caters to all levels of

The route takes you from your hotel in Kathmandu to Mudkhu, then to Tolkha, then to Budhanilkantha and back to your hotel. It is 33km total and an easy ride of 3 to 4 hours.
If you wish to enjoy the friendly trails of Mudkhu then Tokha is the area recommended for you. Departing from your place, you will navigate about 4km of road traffic before an easy 4km climb on the paved road that reaches Mudkhu. You can stop here to have a cup of tea.
From here ride to Tinpipple and then head off road on jeep tracks and village trails riding through villages and the beautiful green rice fields. The trail hugs the valley rim and offers good views of Kathmandu and a good insight into semi rural life in Nepal. Reaching the ancient town of Tokha have lunch at the temple. Return back to Kathmandu on easy roads and test your skill on a few short sections of single tracks. The Zig zag way through the rice paddies and semi rural local villages combines sharp, steep climbs, and smooth down hills to Budhanilkantha.
The stone image there is said to be one of three statues sculpted during the Lichhavi period and called Budhanilkantha, named after the huge image of Lord Vishnu.
From Budhanilkantha ride back to your hotel in Kathmandu on a 45 min ride through peach roads.
