This Jerusalem tour encompasses most important places for the Christians worldwide, The Way of Grief (Via Dolorosa), Holy Sepulcher Church, Last Supper Room, Garden of Gethsemane and plentiful additional Christian sites of the Old City of Jerusalem. After a pickup from your Tel-Aviv hotel, you'll walk through all the 14 stations of Via Dolorosa, from the Praetorium and up to the Golgotha. Via Dolorosa ("Way of Grief" in Latin) is a path where Jesus was lead, in agony, carrying the crucifixion cross. After, proceed to the Holy Sepulcher Church. This huge building covers what Christians believe is the site of the most important event in human history, the place where Jesus rose from the dead. Visit the Last Supper room, the traditional location of the upper room of the "Coenaculum", or dining room. The Last Supper is considered one of the most important events in the life of Jesus, which happened at Zion Mountain, just above King David’s traditional burial place.
Finally, proceed to The Garden of Gethsemane where Jesus is believed to have been arrested after being betrayed by Judas. This garden has some of the world’s oldest olive trees which could have been saplings when Jesus came here with the disciples on that fateful night after the Last Supper. Also, visit the nearby Church of All Nations, officially named the Basilica of the Agony, which enshrines a section of stone that is believed to be where Jesus prayed on the night of his arrest. Return to Tel-Aviv after the tour.
