Your Milan cooking class takes place in the private home of your cooking instructor in Piazza VI Febbraio. An Italian foodie and experienced cooking teacher, Chef Clara invites you to discover the secrets of classic Italian home cooking while learning about the culture and traditions of the Italian way of life.

Start by discussing the daily menu over some tea or coffee with your fellow food lovers. You’ll make four traditional Italian dishes today. Your specific menu depends on the day and season, and will focus on the cuisine of northern, southern or central Italy. All ingredients are supplied fresh from the local market.

Prepare the first courses, which may be homemade pasta and risotto or gnocchi. For the second course, make a hearty meat or vegetable dish such as ossobuco (braised veal), saltimbocca (veal and prosciutto) or a frittata. Top off your classic Italian meal with a dessert such as tiramisu, gelato, panna cotta, fruit cake or chocolate cake.

Once everything is cooked, sit around the table in typical Italian fashion and enjoy your creations, paired expertly with two glasses of fine Italian wine (your cooking instructor is also a certified sommelier). Finish with an Italian espresso coffee.

You’ll be given a recipe booklet so you can recreate this meal at home for your family and friends. You’ll also be granted an Italian cooking diploma for your hard work!
