We pay visit to the both sides of Istanbul, Europe and Asia. Other than the list below, we also have more options to choose from some outer urban areas of Istanbul as well. If you have limited time to see Istanbul and want to see some of the best street art in the city, here are the top 5 districts not to miss: Taksim, Şişhane, Karaköy, Yeldeğirmeni and Moda.
Once we cover the European side, we will take a public ferry (vapur in Turkish) from Karaköy and enjoy a 30 min. boat ride. Kadıköy on the Asian side is a beautiful local district; very diverse and not so packed compared to Taksim area. There are really good local fish bazaars, pubs and vintage shops. The street art scene in Kadıköy and Moda area is very colorful. There are couple of buildings with tall murals done by famous foreign artists.
We will finish our tour back in Karaköy Port - where we take the ferry to the Asian side.
