Ischia is a gorgeous island in the Gulf of Naples, approximately 30km (18 miles) from Naples itself. It has been known by Greeks since the 7th century BC for its green and fertile land. This amazing island is a fascinating blend of sprawling spa towns, rich gardens, buried necropolises and spectacular landscapes with forests, vineyards and charming small towns.
You'll leave the Marina Piccola Port at approximately 10:00am. Along the way, guests will enjoy a 1-hour speedboat cruise, admiring the beautiful Sorrento gulf behind them and facing the imposing Ischia Island after passing by the lovely isle of Procida.

At approximately 11:00, you will arrive at Aragonese Castle, where you can have a relaxing bath nearby. Thanks to the winds and the favorable marine current, the waters around the castle are always clear. Aragonese Castle, standing on a volcanic rock, is the most impressive historical monument in Ischia, built by Hiero I of Syracuse in 474 BC.

After visiting the castle, you will start an amazing tour of the island, beginning with the spectacular rock shaped like a mushroom, which stands in front of Lacco Ameno. You'll then continue to the Bay of San Francesco, then the Soccorso Church in Forio and finally the Rock of Lovers, two blocks of green stone that seem to be ready to kiss.

At approximately noon, you'll reach the bay of Sorgeto. Famous for its thermal waters, the hot springs emerge from underground and cross the sea water, to create ponds and pools of varying size and temperatures. You can choose hot water, warm water, or cold as in the best spas, only free and year-round.

At lunch time there will be the possibility for a stop in Sorgeto at a waterfront restaurant, or alternatively, in Sant'Angelo, known as “The little Capri". This small village is most appreciated by the rich, the VIPs and those who want to stay away from the crowds of holiday makers. The village is filled with colorful houses and is, in fact, entirely pedestrianized, and is not easy to reach from land. Indulge and explore the white or colored small houses, narrow alleys, souvenir works, ice cream shops, restaurants and bars with cozy outdoor seating.

After this free time, get ready to discover the longest beach of Ischia, Maronti. This 3km sandy beach is located in Barano d'Ischia, which is one of the six municipalities of the island. Enjoy a relaxing and refreshing bath before returning back to Sorrento.

During the return journey, you will taste local Limoncello, while the expert skipper will keep telling you stories about this startling island. At approximately 7:00 PM you'll arrive back in Sorrento.
