The first few of miles aren't normally busy then you ride on very low traffic country roads and paths for approximately an hour before reaching the village of Dores on the shore of Loch Ness. The Dores Inn is an excellent place to eat, walk along the beach and watch out for the monster! From Dores you can carry on along the banks of Loch Ness or head up the (big) hill for stunning views across the Loch and an alternative road back to Inverness with a long downhill at the end.
