Depart from your hotel to the harbor by shuttle bus, then check into the awaiting vessel. Pass duty free shops to do some light shopping before jumping on the comfortable deck of the boat. Start your journey around 9:15am by an open-deck ferry and cruise for 45 minutes. If you choose to leave by catamaran, you will be transported at a quicker rate, consisting of 20 minutes. The return ferry will depart at 4:30pm and the return catamaran at 6:00pm.
Upon your arrival in Kos, you will see the Old Town ahead of you and within walking distance. Spend your day as you wish, since you will be exploring independently. Suggested sites to explore include the remains of ancient city such as the alter of Dionysus and the Casa Romano. Stumble across a nearby and massive medieval crusader castle. Sit under the tree of Hippocrates, where he taught his students or take time to enjoy an open air cafe in the city. Head back to the harbor at least 30 minutes prior to departure to check in again and pass passport control. Once you get back to Bodrum, your shuttle bus to the hotel will be waiting for you in the parking area.
