The Inca Jungle Premium Trek, is an amazing 4 day alternative tour where you can practice adventure sports like rafting, trekking, biking and zip lining. It also includes some recently discovered Inca paths, archaeological remains and beautiful mountains from the Abra Malaga to the green valley and the jungle basin of Santa Maria. The Inca Jungle Premium Trek uses luxury equipment and the groups are small.Day 1: Cusco – Pispitayoc (Biking and Rafting) We leave to the sacred valley of the Incas, where we'll go through picturesque villages and beautiful landscapes until reaching the mountain Abra Malaga near 11(4350 mt). From this area we'll departure with the splendid bikes descending 3hrs. We'll go through rural villages, rivers, reaching the area Huamanmarca. Later the private bus will take the group to Santa Maria, where we'll begin rafting. Those that didn’t book the rafting tour, will go with an assistant guide in our private bus to Santa Rosa, after this we'll walk until arriving at the lodge La Choza. The bus will later take the rafting group to Santa Rosa for a hike to the ecological lodge La Choza, located in the village Pispitayoc.
Day 2: Pispitayoc (Ecolodge) – Santa Teresa (Trekking) We walk along the riverbanks and start climbing. On our way we'll see small coffee plantations, fruit trees, etc. In this area it is possible to see many types of plants, orchids and birds. We will observe the beauties of the high forest which is a paradise of biodiversity in the Inca jungle route. After arriving to the top of the mountain we will see the whole valley of Urubamba. The group will descend to arrive at the village Qellomayo. After the break we will trek for 3hrs. going through farms, rivers, waterfalls until arriving at the hot water springs in Santa Teresa. We will continue to walk until reaching the town Santa Teresa, where we will sleep at a comfortable lodge.
Day 3: Santa Teresa – Aguas Calientes (Zip line and Hiking) We continue to explore the roads less traveled and start from the town Santa Teresa. The passengers that reserved in advance will enjoy the zipline, the rest of the group will continue until reaching the hydroelectric too, where the whole group will rejoin. After a short break, the journey will continue along the great Inca jungle, going through waterfalls, coca and coffee farms until arriving at the town Aguas Calientes. The group will be taken to the hostel around 4 pm. At night we all get together in a restaurant to have a great dinner and have a briefing about the trek to Machu Picchu.
Day 4: Auguas Calientes – Machu Picchu – Cusco (Walking and visit to sanctuary) The group will go to Machu Picchu, following an ascending route through the high forest, we could have the chance to see the sunrise, after passing the control. The private guide will show us the sanctuary for aprox. 2hrs, later the group will be free to enjoy Machu Picchu on their own. The passengers that reserved the hiking to Huayna Picchu will have their adventure. In the afternoon the group will descend walking to Aguas Calientes, to rest or to buy souvenirs until the hour of departure of the train towards Ollantaytambo. We will arrive late at night, around 12.30 am. The tour ends in Cusco´s main square.
