Learn about Spain’s culinary heritage via an audio guide, and then begin your session with a fascinating audio-visual presentation for a more in-depth look at how Iberian ham is produced. Learn how the breed of pig and what it's fed (for instance, acorns) creates each type of ham, and hear how different curing processes bring out different characteristics in the meat.
After the interactive presentation, it’s time to taste some of the delicious ham for yourself.
Throughout the course of the tasting, sample six different varieties of ham from regions such as Huelva, Extremadura, Guijuelo and Valle de los Pedroches. You’ll also pair your ham with a glass of wine, beer or cava, a sparkling wine produced in Catalonia.
