This small-group wine tour begins in Hvar town with a drive to the other side of the island to the island's most important wine region. Vineyards are all over the island of Hvar. Wine tour begins in Hvar town with a drive to the other side of the island to the island's most important wine region. Continuing further we'll visit two of the most famous Croatian winemakers. The wine tour includes wine tastings in two wineries.
In the Sv. Nedjelja village, by the waterside, the Plenković family formed their horticulturist company in early 1986. Their vineyards are to the south of Hvar island and on Makarska vineyards below Mt. Biokovo. The wine tasting are held in a unique underwater wine cellar overlooking the bottom of the sea.
Continuing further on the other side of the island to a small coastal town Jelsa which has a very proud and long winemaking tradition.
The Tomić family and ten other people from the island of Hvar work in the winery. They cultivate indigenous grapes, but experiment new ones as also. They are constantly enhancing the production of red, white and rose varieties with modern technologies, but pay particular attention to Prošek, the original Dalmatian wine made from selected and dried grapes of the highest quality local varieties.
At each wine cellar you will have the opportunity to taste 4 - 5 different wines together with a personalised wine guide, who will describe the individual wines and provide the information needed to satisfy your curiosity, with islands finest local appetisers.
After the wineries we head to a spectacular Traditional Dalmatian dinner in the charming abandoned village of Malo Grablje.

Main Course
Peka - traditional meal with lamb or mixed lamb and veal under the iron bell covered with the ash (octopus on request).
