On this tour, you will get to experience a full-day cycling around the Citadel, which was once the home to the emperors of Vietnam. Tour includes all equipment as well as hotel pickup and drop-off.
You will get to see some of the old military tanks that were stationed here in Hue City as you bike to the Citadel. You will also get a chance to walk through the fortress to vegetable gardens and see firsthand the beauty of the Citadel and to see the farmers’ cultivation as well watering the plants, and turning over the soil in the traditional way.
Travelling through the lakes and waterways, you will get to relax and enjoy some coffee at a roadside café, exploring daily local life close-up. Visit the Imperial and Forbidden City before having lunch at a Hue traditional styled restaurant. After lunch, keep cycling on the flat road to reach An Hien ancient house which is over one hundred years old. The host here is a descendant of a great mandarin under the time of Gia Long King founded the Nguyen Dynasty of Hue in 1802.
End the tour with a leisurely ride, we go to Thien Mu Pagoda to watch a praying ceremony of the monks. Don’t miss the stunning sunset on Perfume River!
