Experience the underwater beauty of the Pacific with a scuba adventure off the coast of Huatulco National Park, known for its nine beautiful bays. Admire the coral reef, and see marine life like turtles, eels, stingrays and many colorful fish. All levels are welcome, whether you're a certified diver or complete novice; if you’re a beginner, you’ll take two dives — a practice dive in shallow water followed by the real thing. Round-trip transport from Huatulco hotels is included. After pickup from your hotel, head to the dive center, where you’ll be outfitted with all the necessary gear for your Huatulco dive. If you are certified, make sure you bring along proof of your certification.

Whether you're an experienced diver or just starting out, your dive takes place in one of the nine bays that make up the coastline of Huatulco National Park (Parque Nacional Huatulco). Depending on the water conditions on the day of your dive, you may explore a shipwreck site, underwater ridges and volcanic rock, or a coral reef, all of which are reached by a dive boat. See stingrays, sea turtles, moray eels and many fish.

If you are a beginner, you’ll actually take two dives. Start in the shallow waters of Órgano Bay to learn all of the basics and take a practice dive under the careful supervision of your instructor. Then hop in the dive boat and ride out to the reef, where you'll strap on a new tank and take your second dive in the open water. You'll swim along with more practiced divers, but your instructor will stay by your side the entire time to ensure your safety.

Back on shore after your dive, refresh with some water or soft drinks before being returned to your hotel.
