Enjoy this tour which will introduce you to the Huangshan Mountain, which is one of the most popular scenic spots in China, known for its lofty peaks, steep valleys, winding streams, and wide range of plants and trees. Day 1 [L]:
Once you have met your tour guide at your hotel, you can get transferred to Mt.Huangshan (also called Yellow Mountain). The UNESCO listed mountain range is known for its scenery, sunsets, granite peaks, pine trees, hot springs, winter snow, and more.
Then you will get the shuttle bus to Yungu Cable Car station, which takes about 30 minutes. From here, you will take the cable car up (10 minutes), and then you enjoy the breath-taking views of the Yellow Mountain. Such as the Beginning-to-Believe Peak, the Black Tiger Pine Tree, the Writing-Brush Peak and Lion Peak and so on. You will enjoy lunch at the top of the Yellow Mountain and afterwards you will visit Xihai Scenic Area, before taking the Yungu Cable Car down.
You will then drive for about 70 minutes to visit Yixian Hongcun Village – an area that has been listed as UNESCO World Heritage Site due to its traditional Southern Anhui-style architecture.
You’ll stay overnight at Hongcun Village (optional accommodation: Guest House at Hongcun Village).
Day 2 [B, L]:
In the morning you’ll visit the local market before breakfast. After breakfast, you’ll have a cooking class in Hongcun where you’ll be taught how to make two local dishes by a local chef.
Then you’ll be taken back to your hotel in Huangshan with the rest of the day on your own arrangement.
