Discover the beauties of Tuscany on horseback! Riding in this wild part of Maremma Toscana, you will cross native woods and small rivers, pass Medieval villages, canter along blooming meadows and have great views. Our horses are very reliable and sure-footed and you will have lots of fun.Meet the horses at 9 am at the Prategiano stables and talk to the guides about your riding experience. The guides will pick the right horse for you. For a relaxed start of the day you can overnight at the nearby hotel. Please contact the riding center at least one day before the scheduled ride to explain your riding ability.
Horseback riders with intermediate or advanced experience can participate in these half-day trail riding trips. One of the rides leads to the top of the Hill of Montieri from where you will overlook the hills and vallies until the coast of Maremma Tuscany. The ride is about 2 hour to 2,5 hours in the saddle. The main path is walk, but there are possibilities for trott and canter. Unexperienced riders will have an hour of lesson to learn the basics of trail riding in the ring before going on a one hour trail ride.
The guided half day ride starts at 10 am. The destination is different every day and is set by the guides. You can choose also the afternoon tour.
