- Valor in the Pacific/Arizona Memorial
Your first stop on the tour is the Valor in the Pacific Visitor Center and the USS Arizona Memorial. You will visit the historical museum and view a 23-minute documentary film on the attack of Pearl Harbor. Via the Navy shuttle boat, you will board the Arizona Memorial, which is the final resting place for the majority of the ship's 1,177 crewmen who lost their lives during the Pearl Harbor attack. The USS Arizona Memorial was constructed to honor American servicemen and civilians who were killed on December 7, 1941.
- Battleship Missouri
You will then visit famous Ford Island to tour the USS Battleship Missouri. The “Mighty Mo” was decommissioned in 1992 after it came to Hawaii for the 50th anniversary commemoration of the attack on Pearl Harbor. The 887ft battleship was built in 1944 and was active in the US Fleet from the surrender of the Empire of Japan in World War II, to providing gunfire support for UN forces during the Korean War, to launching the first Tomahawk missile in Operation Desert Storm.
- Punchbowl National Memorial
After lunch, travel to one of the more spectacular vantage points on Oahu. Punchbowl National Memorial Cemetery, this is the final resting place of more than 30,000 American Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen, and Marines. Among those buried here are 586 Pearl Harbor victims, Medal of Honor recipients, and many "unknowns" from wars in the Pacific. Here you will see the Statue of Columbia, surrounded by marble columns containing the names of more than 10,000 Americans missing in action in the Pacific.
- Home of the Brave Museum and Gift Shop
Undoubtedly, our guests favorite stop of the day is at the Home of the Brave museum. This exclusive and nostalgic WWII museum honors the brave men and women who fought courageously during WWII. It is filled with fascinating artifacts and stories from veterans and their families that have visited over the years. We host one of the largest and most unique collection of 1940s memorabilia and photographs that represent America's Greatest Generation. End your day with a step back in time to the 1940s, reminiscing in the Wiki Waki Woo Bar, enjoying an ice cold beverage or beer.
