Fantastic offer for meet the city and enjoy the paella valenciana. You will hear all about the story of this great city, that saw many royalty personalities walk its streets. Finish your tour with a delicious typical paella in a classic restaurant. Before going to eat Paella, you will make a tour through the golden period of Valencia, centuries XV and XVI. The two greatest centuries of absolute glory, wealth and economical apogee. Let’s fly with our imagination to that period, when Valencia was one of the main cities in the Aragon Kingdom, and a main port on the whole mediterranean sea.
Thanks to the reformist push that brought Isabel I and king Fernando, Your Majesties the Catholic Kings, the city lived a cultural and economic growth like never before, nor never after. Ideological, technical innovation came across, but together with growth, insecurity and corruption came together, too. These took Valencia to be target for all kind of traders, prostitutes, working class and robbers. And a city where the strong clergy, the Pope itself, aristocrats, traders and politicians, decided the future and economical agreements. Of curse, the highest you climb, the strongest is the fall.
We will talk around while walking and sightsee: Turia river bridges, Torres de Serrano, Torres de Quart, Palacio Borja (Borja family palace), Viejo Palacio del Ayuntamiento, Plaza del Correo Viejo, La Lonja de la Seda and lot more!
The Tour will end with a fantastic Paella menu (Paella with one drink consumption and coffee) at a classic place in the historical center!
